a beloved second-generation Yoga teacher from Omaha, Nebraska passes too soon

There has been a death in the Yoga Community of Omaha, Nebraska.

A longtime and beloved Yogi/Yoga teacher, piano player/teacher, dancer/choreographer, singer/choral orchestrater, has died. Keefer Peterson has touched so many hearts with his massive talent, his love, and his care for all who he shared those incredible gifts with. As a result, so many hearts are aching.

I’m in the hospital and not sure until when, hopefully out sometime this week!

When I opened my Yoga studio in 2007, he was the very first teacher I contacted to teach at my studio. He was the most exuberant, likeable, and full-of-life soul. His smile was infectious, and he lit up the room. His personal legacies live on.
