but off course
Just because someone draws me a map - whether written on paper or explained in words - my sense of direction will take me everywhere else. I don’t have a bad directional sense. You could say that I’m overly present.
That means I’m too focused on…the sheep on the road up ahead, locating the bird that is making that sweet sound that I have never heard before, and scanning for predators (bears, wolves, men). Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)? No. Probably just my life-habit of multi-tasking.
