Yes, I have travelled to Scotland three times in the last four years. Yes, I visited the Isle of Skye on all three of those trips. Yes, the Fairy Glen is there. Yes, the McLeod clan castle of Dunvegan is located there in the village of Dunvegan, and the Fairy Bridge is where I want my ashes sprinkled when I die. But that does not make me some sort of ambassador to the Isle of Skye. I point this out because twice this week I have received video and news links from friends about the goings on… on the Isle of Skye.
I am starting to miss Scotland and pine for my return this winter. My friend Christina says there are “lilts of lambs about.” I miss the horse and pony up the road. But that’s on another island.
