Chatsworth House, aka “Pemberley” in the 2005 film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice

I have shifted gears from chasing the 18th century ghosts of my family ancestry to chasing fictional characters from the 18th century. Specifically, Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice. That book and 2005 film adaptation was my sole reason for visiting the Peak District for the last five days, and there ended up being so many other things that made it worthwhile.
