My first-of-the-day Google search this morning: “Why is it called a podcast?” That is what I am thinking about post-dream, pre-coffee. What is the “pod” referring to…the teeny-tiny closet-room you record in? Is it referencing the “two peas in a pod” adage? Two people with headphones on crammed into the teeny-tiny closet-room recording their conversation? Why not room-cast or chat-cast? On the radio you are broadcasting (across the airwaves), in that same teeny-tiny closet-room.
